Justin Maguire - Director of Photography

Justin Maguire is a multi Emmy award-winning natural history cinematographer with thirty years of experience in the field. 

​

He has worked on numerous landmark TV series, including for the BBC: Planet Earth I & II, Life Story, Frozen Planet (EMMY: Best Cinematography; Jackson Hole film festival: Best Cinematography), Wild Arabia, Africa, Human Planet (Royal Television Society: Best Photography for Documentary & Factual), Life (EMMY: Best Cinematography), The Great Rift, Nature’s Great Events, Life in Cold Blood, Life of Mammals, Wild China (EMMY: Best Cinematography).

He recently spent a year in China for Born in China, a Disneynature film, and has also shot for the IMAX film The Great Bear Rainforest.

Justin’s diverse skills allow him to film anything from ants to elephants, and anywhere from the Arctic to the Sahara, including extensive experience filming people in both documentary and dramatic productions.
