Sue Turner - Co-founder, Consulting Producer

Sue Turner is the co-founder of River Road Films, along with her husband Jeff Turner. For 35 years, Sue has co-produced and co-directed all of River Road’s productions going back to late 1980s, when she and Jeff first started working with the BBC and later CBC, among many other broadcasters.  

 

Sue loves living in the wilderness - especially with bears, which are one of her favourite animals. She has a special ability to discover the stories of individual animals and the unique aspects of their character and their lives. Sue has currently stepped back from daily involvement in production but continues to engage with each project as a consulting producer.
